How does the crossing work?
Hanoi tickets can include a speedboat, cable car or drive-on ferry, depending on the vehicle. Read your selected ticket carefully: these are different connections with different schedules.
Where will I be picked up?
Hanoi coach pickups vary by operator: Cat Ba Express lists 214 Tran Quang Khai; Good Morning lists 122 Tran Nhat Duat. Eligible Old Quarter hotel pickup must be confirmed with the team. Other routes have their own pickup points.
Can I book a round trip?
Yes, where a reverse route is listed. Choose both vehicles and departures separately. A 50,000 VND saving per seated traveler applies only when both selected legs have published fares. Quote-only routes have no agreed discount. Do not assume the return uses the same operator or crossing.
What about overnight buses?
Sapa, Ha Giang and Cao Bang routes are awaiting supplier arrangements. A cabin, berth layout, onboard facilities and pickup address are preferences until confirmed. Some island connections change vehicles and may pass through Hanoi. Hue and Hoi An involve an onward connection via Ninh Binh. Exact long-distance timings require confirmation.
Are seats confirmed instantly?
No. Your online request goes to our booking team. We check the operator’s availability and send written confirmation and payment instructions. Do not travel on the strength of the request receipt.
